Kai completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology (First Class Honours) from Yale-NUS College, where she built a strong foundation in clinical psychology, neurodiversity, and evidence-based practice.
Over the past five years, Kai has worked across clinical and community settings, providing supportive counselling in both group and individual contexts. She has also assisted with psychological assessments and supported children in classroom and enrichment settings, helping them build confidence, emotional regulation skills, and meaningful social connections.
At Bloom, Kai supports children navigating a range of emotional and developmental needs through psychological interventions and assessments as part of the collaborative clinical team. She is particularly interested in emotional regulation and anxiety, and values creating a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where children and families feel seen and understood. By grounding her work in each child’s uniqueness, she hopes to help them build resilience and navigate challenging emotional experiences.
Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, as well as making coffee and matcha!
