Jitsy Lim

Master of Arts (Applied Psychology) at the National Institute of Education (NIE) and her Honours degree in Psychology at the National University of Singapore (NUS)

Jitsy completed her Master of Arts (Applied Psychology) at the National Institute of Education (NIE) and her Honours degree in Psychology at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She is a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).

Jitsy began her journey as a psychologist at the Ministry of Education in 2010, working with students and teachers in primary and secondary schools all over Singapore. She is experienced in conducting diagnostic assessments for learning needs such as dyslexia, autism spectrum, developmental delay, and in working with teachers and parents to understand their child’s profile and strengths, and implement strategies to meet their needs. She joined private practice in 2022 after more than a decade in public service.

Jitsy is certified to conduct standardised assessments such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 (ADOS-2), the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) and the Singapore Ability Scales (SAS). She is trained in techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) and functional behavioural assessment.

Jitsy enjoys spending time listening to children and drawing out their strengths with the adults around them. In her personal time, she finds joy in gardening, exercising, and discovering new sides to herself.
