As an Educational or Clinical Psychologist at Bloom, you will be responsible for conducting psycho-educational assessments and providing therapeutic intervention services for our clients (mainly 4-18 years old).

Key responsibilities include

Assessment

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments such as assessments for SLD (dyslexia, dyscalculia), ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, SPED sch application, etc.
  • Case conceptualisation, diagnosis and making evidence-based recommendations
  • Provide accessible feedback to parents
  • Report writing

Intervention

  • Conducting individual and group interventions using evidence-based approaches (e.g. executive functioning, social skills, emotional regulation, behaviour plans)
  • Resource and programme development
  • Coaching parents to implement recommendations
  • Maintain up-to-date records, e.g. case notes and other documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate intervention outcomes

Other Duties

  • Leadership in service monitoring and improvement
  • Conceptualise new projects or involvement in existing projects
  • Conduct talks and workshops for parents and teachers
  • Supervision of associate psychologists (if applicable)

Requirements

  • Recognised Master’s degree in Educational or Clinical Psychology.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or other professional bodies.
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational assessment and strong report writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, teens and families.
  • Competency with CBT interventions preferred.
  • Proficiency in spoken Chinese will be an asset.
