Dr Pearlene Ng

Dr Ng is a registered clinical psychologist in Singapore and the United Kingdom. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at King’s College London, where she was awarded the Social Service Scholarship by the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) and the King’s Leadership & Professional Skills Award (Gold). Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of presentations, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and neurodevelopmental conditions (such as autism and ADHD). Dr Ng is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Systemic Family Therapy. She is passionate about providing evidence-based compassionate care, drawing from her diverse clinical and leadership background in Singapore and the UK.

Dr Ng has held senior roles in public, community, and academic settings. Prior to joining the National University of Singapore as a Senior Lecturer and Director of Education, she was Head of Department in the social service sector, where she established and led a multidisciplinary psychology service. Dr Ng is also an SPS-approved registered supervisor who has supervised numerous clinical psychologists and trainees in Singapore and the United Kingdom.

Dr Ng believes in a collaborative strengths-based approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client and their families. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment for her clients and their families in achieving meaningful change and enhanced well being.
